Listens
All-time listens appears below your podcast name.
What counts as a listen?
We count listens in accordance with the Internet Advertising Bureau guidelines. For more information head to the IAB website.
Listen durations, number of subscribers, and other client-side analytics, are available on your Apple Podcasts and Spotify dashboards for listens on those platforms.
Date range selector
We've provided a set of pre-selected date ranges for common reporting periods - choose one of 7 / 30 / 60 / 90 / 365 days, or All Time.
Using the date picker you can also select a custom date range to generate a report for a chosen time period within the last 365 days.
Our analytics use UTC timezones.
Analytics summary
This shows how your podcast is performing in the selected date range, helping you track growth and understand your audience reach.
- Listens - the number of episode listens in the selected period
- Listeners - estimated number of individual listeners (available for date ranges of one month or less).
- Comparison - How your current numbers compare to the previous period.
- Export CSV - Export a CSV file report from the selected date range.
Understanding unique listeners: We estimate unique listeners by counting IP addresses and browser information. This gives you a good sense of your actual audience size, but keep in mind:
- Multiple people sharing the same internet connection may appear as one listener
- One person using different devices or networks may appear as multiple listeners
- This metric is only available for shorter date ranges (one month or less) to ensure accuracy
Top Episodes
Search or sort your top performing episodes by Title, Date Created, Listens.
Select an episode title in the list to see analytics on an episode.
If you have a Parent Channel you will see Top Podcasts in addition to Top Episodes.
Top Countries & Cities
The top countries your podcast has been played in. Select a country to drill down to City level.
Device
The devices your audience is using grouped into mobile, tablet and desktop.
Platform
Platforms and apps that your listeners are using.
Age / Gender
Analyze the your audience demographics. This is based on US survey data, so may not be present depending on the volume & location of your listens.
