Overview
Episodes can now be saved as drafts before they're published. A draft holds your audio, title, description, artwork, and scheduled date until you're ready to release it — it won't appear on your feed or be counted in your published episodes until you publish it. You can save a draft without audio and come back to it later. The only required field is the title.
The Drafts tab
- Found on your channel's Episodes page, alongside your other episode tabs
- Shows a count of how many drafts you currently have
- Lists all drafts with links to each one to complete editing
Saving vs. publishing
The main button on the episode form changes depending on what it will do:
- Save draft – saves your progress without publishing
- Publish episode – publishes immediately
- Unpublish and reschedule – takes a published episode back to draft
Scheduling a draft
A draft's scheduled date is a placeholder for when you plan to publish — it is not a live schedule, so the episode won't go out automatically. You'll see a warning if the date has already passed.
Deleting a draft
Use Delete this draft, shown on the draft view, to remove a draft you no longer need.
